Ok, flip tricks can be really frustrating to learn.  Hopefully these tips will help you out.

BS Shove-It:  A BS (Backside) shove-it is a flip trick where the board does a backside 180.  To do this, jump and kick your back foot behind you.  Catch it with your front foot, then put you back foot back on the board.  You might have to jump in front of you if the board keeps going out of control.

FS Shove-It:  These are hard.  Same thing as a BS shove-it, but kick your back foot in front of you.  Then jump backwards and catch the board.  It helps to pop the board really high on this trick.

Kickflip:  Kickflips are frustrating to learn.  You want to set up like an ollie but point your front foot towards the nose of the board.  Then ollie and pull your front foot off the side of the board.  Get your feet out of the way, then catch the board and ride away.  Here's a how to video.

Heelflip:  Another hard trick.    Setup like an ollie but with the toes on your front foot hanging off the edge.  Ollie and roll your front foot forwards and out.  Get your feet out of the way and catch the board.  Here's another how to video.

How to Heelflip

360 Shove-It:  For this you need to know how to BS shove-it.  It's just like a BS shove-it, but kick harder and have your back foot in the middle of that tail.  Usually people have to jump way out for this one in order to land it.

Varial Flip:  This combines the BS shove-it and the kickflip.  With your back foot do exactly the same as you would do with your front foot, and with your front foot kick straight ahead (the direction you are riding).  Then wait for the board to come around and land it.  If you're having trouble getting the flip just t
right, try kicking harder with one of your feet and not as hard with the other.

Varial Heelflip:  This combines a FS shove-it with a heelflip.  Simple as that.  Not.  Kick like a FS shove-it, but then kick your front foot straight in front of you.  This will take some practice, but it is possible and is a fun, cool trick to learn.

360 (Tre) Flip:  This trick is hard.  It will take you a while to learn and years to perfect.  This is just like a varial flip but kick as hard as you can with your back foot and kick your front foot straight out.  The board should flip and land somewhere far away from you.  Next time you do the trick, jump to where the board landed and try to land it.  Remember, just keep practicing.

Hospital Flip:  This trick is like half of a kickflip with half of an impossible.  Setup like a kickflip, but don't kick as hard.  Try to make the top of your foot hit the grip tape when the board's upside down, then flip it impossible style back under your feet.

Impossible:  I've only landed this twice.  It's so hard.  You have to jump as high as you can and scoop your back foot as hard as you can.  The hard part is getting the board uspide down.  Once it's upside down, just lift up your back foot and bring it around.  It should look like the board is doing a cross between a backflip and a 360.
